The Band

Blake DiModica as Robin Zander:

Blake grew up and has spent his life in the rolling hills of Northern California. From the moment he was born it didn’t take long for his God given gift of music to rise up and shake the windows. By age 5 he started playing drums, which at the time consisted of 2 snare drums and 2 metal knitting needles as drumsticks.

By the time he was 15 Blake had added trumpet, piano, bass, and guitar to his list of instruments, including of course, vocals. He wasn’t quite sure at this point which musical path he would follow until that fateful day he saw Cheap Trick on Don Kushner’s Rock Concert. From then on it was all Zander influenced front man! His high school original rock band “Interface” played just as many Cheap Trick songs as originals including the entire Live at Budokan album.

Original and cover bands soon followed over the years including 2 years of traveling the Western US with a Top-40 band playing 4 to 6 nights a week. Blake has also written well over 100 songs in his songwriting lifetime which continues to this day. After a very lengthy live preforming break, Blake is more than excited to come full circle in Dream Police California.

Matt Diggs as Rick Nielsen:

Matt grew up in a musical family in the San Francisco Bay Area and discovered his passion for music at an early age.

With a few years of piano lessons and a steady diet of hard rock classics playing from his older sister’s bedroom, Matt soon gravitated towards an obsession with the guitar and a fascination with the songwriting and recording process. This initial curiosity has led to a 25-year career in the music business where Matt has performed on stage with various projects at over 1500 shows in North America while simultaneously traveling the world producing industry events as a music recording technology marketer. “Cheap Trick are one of those quintessential bands that taught us all how to rock, I’m thrilled to be able to preform their amazing catalog on-stage.”

Duane Daniels as Tom Petersson:

Duane has been performing music for many years and has cultivated his talents while emulating some of his heroes, most notably Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick. Duane's love of Cheap Trick is undeniable and it shows when he performs with Dream Police California.

Duane is a collector of many 12 string, 8 string, and 4 stringed bass guitars and six string electric guitars as well. Duane brings years of touring experience and a great passion for Cheap Trick to the stage at every show!

Brian L. Daniels as Bun E. Carlos:

Mission Statement-Stay in the pocket and keep time.
He’s been a California Man from birth.
Mr. B. took up drumming in 1975, at the tender age of 9.
He was known to set up a rodeo horn speaker next to his drum kit, crank up Cheap Trick and play along with all the early albums.

Mr. B. has played in over 30 bands and loved every chop of it!
Mr. B. also enjoys BBQ-in’, choppin’ onions and Bun E. beats. Can’t wait to see you at the next show!
